Home Energy & Water Evaluation Backpack Workshops-   Back at Bartram Trail Branch

Join us for this one-hour workshop to learn how to do your own home energy and water audit and save money on your utility bill!

JEA and the Green Team Project have expanded the backpack program to include water use evaluation tools. Now you will have the tools to:

  • Find water leaks and estimate their water costs
  • Check if your faucets and appliances are water efficient
  • Determine if your irrigation system is watering efficiently

The backpacks still include the great energy efficiency measuring tools to help you conserve energy, identify and fix problem areas in your home, and ways to save money on your utility bill!

Sign up for this one-hour workshop!
You and your family can learn about conserving energy and water by showing you how to use the JEA “Do-It-Yourself” Home Energy & Water Efficiency Backpack Kit. It’s fun, easy to use, and available for free to anyone with a St Johns County Public Library Card.*

This is a great project to do with the whole family where everyone can learn how to be an energy and water detective in your home.  A limited number of backpacks will be available at this workshop for checkout. RSVP today!

If you have any questions contact Carrie-Lynn Black,          Green Team Project NE FL Program Coordinator, at cblack@greenteamproject.org or call (904) 348-0718.

*Backpacks are available to anyone with a St. Johns County Public Library Card at the Bartram Trails and Ponte Vedra Beach Branches.  Backpacks are also available to anyone with a Jacksonville or Nassau County Public Library Card at any library branch in their respective county.
